Our children and youth are the future of God’s Kingdom, our church, and our community. At Bethany our children and youth have a vital role in the life of our church. As a part of our ministries we provide a nursery for infants and young children during worship service time. At Bethany Church, it is our vision to walk alongside parents and families so that each child who attends Bethany Church experiences the saving grace of Christ, comes to faith in Christ, and grows in faith in Christ. 

To help our children and youth come to Christ, Bethany Church offers children and youth Sunday school classes at 9am each week. During each of our worship services, our pastor will deliver a short children’s message to the children. Our childen’s ministry director will then lead children to a time of learning and growth during children’s church. We are growing in our children and youth ministries and plan to offer elementary and youth Bible study on Sunday evenings in the near future. Children and youth are also growing to be an active part in our Sunday morning worship services. Children help by serving as an acolyte and helping collect weekly offering.

 We also offer various events throughout the year to offer children and youth an opportunity to learn about God, grow in God, and fellowship together.  Special events include a family Bingo night, Valentine’s Party, Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival, Christmas play. We are also planning outings for children and youth, and families, throughout the year. We plan outings to the Lexington Flying Pigs Game, Winston Salem Dash, Greensboro Gargoyles hockey games, and other fun events. 

Missions are very important to us at Bethany. As a part of our children and youth ministries. We also will have vairous opportunities to serve in our church, our community, and on a variety of mission trips.
